TERMS & CONDITIONS.
By booking a session at Meridian Sound Studios Ltd. (the “Studio”), you (the “Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Definitions
- Client: The individual or entity booking and using the Studio's services.
- Studio: Meridian Sound Studios Ltd., including its facilities, staff, and equipment.
- Session: The period booked by the Client for studio use.
- Force Majeure: Unforeseeable events beyond either party's control that prevent fulfilment of obligations.
2. Bookings & Cancellations
- All bookings must be made in advance.
- Clients must pay a deposit equal to the room fee at the time of booking.
- Cancellation Policy:
- More than 48 hours before the session: Full refund.
- Between 48 and 24 hours before the session: 50% refund.
- Less than 24 hours before the session: No refund.
- If a session is delayed due to Studio-related issues (e.g., equipment failure, double bookings), the Client will be offered an extension or reschedule at no additional charge.
3. Late Arrival Policy
- Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will not have their session extended.
- If the Client is more than 30 minutes late without notice, the Studio may shorten or cancel the session at full charge.
- If the Client is more than one hour late without prior notice, the session is deemed canceled without a refund.
4. Payment & Fees
- Deposit must be paid before the start of the session.
- Payments via bank transfer or PayPal.
- Full payment must be completed within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Late payment may incur fees or collection actions.
- Large commercial projects may have separate terms outlined in a separate agreement.
- Payment is for time and services rendered; dissatisfaction does not exempt payment.
5. Confidentiality & Media Use
- The Studio may use media recorded on-site for promotional purposes unless agreed otherwise in writing.
- Clients are encouraged to tag and credit the Studio in social media posts.
- Written Studio approval is required before public announcements about major projects recorded at the Studio.
6. Liability & Indemnity
- The Studio is not liable for loss of personal belongings left on-site.
- Clients are responsible for their own insurance for valuable equipment and personal belongings.
- Damage caused by the Client or guests must be repaired or reimbursed.
- Overnight equipment storage requires prior approval.
7. Alcohol, Drugs & Conduct
- No illegal substances, smoking, vaping, or alcohol on Studio premises.
- Misconduct or intoxication may result in session termination with no refund.
- The Studio may refuse entry to additional guests beyond the agreed number.
8. Force Majeure
The Studio will work with the Client to reschedule or refund sessions due to unforeseeable events, including but not limited to:
- Technical failures (power outages, software issues).
- Natural disasters (flooding, fires, extreme weather).
- Venue-wide closures or emergencies.
